The last thing Jayde Matthews wants is to be dragged into another supernatural conspiracy. As a member of Venator, she is supposed to hunt vampires and stop the supernatural world from harming humanity, but she doesn’t believe in the tenets set forth by her boss, Viktor. She knows that not all vampires are the evil and unnatural creatures of darkness Viktor makes them out to be.
Then, a routine assignment becomes the very conspiracy she was hoping to avoid.
The vampires and Venator both want her to hunt down a supernatural slave trader and she’s getting a new partner to do it. Unfortunately, he doesn’t want to work with her.
Jayde isn’t just a hunter though. She’s the Seer, a powerful psychic with the lead role in a prophecy made three centuries ago, and her powers are greater than any other psychic.
Although Jayde and her new partner don’t see eye to eye, the two grow strangely closer, but Jayde will soon discover that he is hiding a big secret-one that could start a war between Venator and the vampires. With her loyalties divided, she will have to choose a side. Will it be Venator, vampires, or her own?
